Since its establishment in 1996 the faculty has trained 416
students who have graduated with diplomas of manager-economist.
Nowadays graduates of the faculty work successfully in the sphere
of public health, in business organizations, banks etc., also they
study on post-graduate courses. Six graduates have defended Ph.D.
thesis.
Training of students is carried out at 17 departments of the
University. The curriculum includes 5 blocs of disciplines:
humanitarian and social-economic, mathematical and scientific,
professional, special and technological disciplines reflecting
public health specificity.
During graduate courses students of the faculty have
advanced training of 5 specializations: “Management in
insurance medical sphere”, “Business activity arrangements in
Public Health enterprises”, “Financial management in pharmaceutical
enterprises”, “Crisis-proof management in public health
enterprises”, “Arrangements and management of activity of
sanatorium-and-spa institutions”.
After finishing the University graduates can work as economists,
managers, marketing specialists, accountants in various spheres of
national economy including Public Health of
treatment-and-preventive institutions; Heads or managers of
hospitals, treatment-and-preventive centers; Deputies of the head
physician of economy (commercial activity). They can also head or
work at services of maintenance supply, marketing, human resource
management etc.; Study on post-graduate courses.
